I had fully expected to peen my rails and lap the slide based on my previous 1911 builds.  That was not the case.  It was tight out of the box.  The barrel fit to slide at the lugs is perfect,  perhaps even a little too tight until I get it broken in.  The machining is flawless and the ejector perfectly timed.  Will buy from TRE again.

I’ve put together multiple 1911 & 2011 platform pistols. This 9MM build kit is well made with tight tolerances. Makes building a very fine and reliable firearm easier. Thanks TR enabling and Remsport for an excellent upper assembly. I highly recommend this product!
