For the money, this is the best and most economical 1911 barrel option out there. It's a great barrel for a great price.

Still finishing this barrel fit for a 2011 build, the last one was great, I anticipate this will be the same. Sent and received quickly and without issue. Simple things are appreciated when they seem to become more scarce in the online ordering market, I'll continue to support good companies like TRE!

I received my slab side top rear and front serration slide and Nowlan ramp barrel.  The barrel looks good but will require some fitting to the slide. This is to be expected for hand matching the parts.  Looks like the hood area is all that will have to be adjusted to match up the slide perfectly.  This is my 1st order with TR and I'm very impressed with the machining and communication.

Barrel seems like good quality. Did require some fitting of the hood and lower lugs. Locks up tight. Still have to shoot it.

A great product ,I inadvertently ordered a ramped barrel instead of a non ramped for my Springfield 1911 when I received it I called your customer service and talked to Cody .I sent the barrel back and he said when he receives it he would send me the correct barrel

Barrel hood is a nice tight fit to the matching slide. Barrel fitting should be pretty straight forward with this one.

Dropped right in my Spring Filed  9mm 1911. Shot 100 rounds on my last range trip and worked flawlessly.
It is a very accurate and seems to be a high quality  barrel.

The 5" Government barrel was just received - it was nicely machined with  no tool marks and it was  polished.

The chamber was correct for 9mm and after slight adjustment to the hood the barrel popped in and out of battery with the bushing installed.

Applied a #3 barrel link and a barrel link pin and  removed the slightest amount from the bottom lugs - mainly to clear the step.

Like all high quality semi-fit barrels some material was "shoe shined" off the top of the chamber area and the top surface of the hood using strips of medium grit sandpaper- applied  lapping compound and worked the barrel and slide back and forth and got a great fit.

Bottom lugs well cut and smooth finish - very slight removal of metal, mostly polishing.

A slight amount of lapping compound on the front of the barrel to allow the barrel to tilt in and out of battery while maintaining a good fit.

For the price, given the quality, these barrels are a steal.
