I bought the plug to replace the original one on my Kimber. I replaced the full-length guide rod, and I wanted something to cover the opening left from the longer rod. This plug fits and works but it is a little long. It sticks 1/4 inch past the frame/slide taking away the clean look of the pistol. Wish it was that 1/4 inch shorter!
