It has taken me a loooong time to research the 1911 slides for the planned build of my pair of 45's. This is a project that has been a long time coming, slow methodical, and something I want to had down to my son in the end.
I did end up paying just a little more, but now that I have received them, I can tell you it was worth every penny! The quality of the the slides and the milling is perfect!
Packaging was also more than expected, which was nice, individually enclosed in plastic tubes with removable/reusable caps. Then inside box with additional packing material.
I will definitely come back again for additional parts from this company!

Awesome slide. High quality. If you are wanting to build a custom 1911, this is a fantastic place to start. Remember these slides all take the 9mm firing pin.

Novak cuts are very tight, and will probably require work to get your sight set installed.
